YouTube has been blocked in the northern African country of Tunisia. Tunisians trying to access the video sharing site are greeted with a 404 message. There has been no statement thus far from the government.

Earlier this year, Morocco and Thailand both blocked out YouTube after videos surfaced insulting each country's respective king. Tunisia isn't a monarchy but its politics are dominated by a single party, which has kept the same president in office since 1987. It's not exactly a burgeoning hotbed of political freedom, so that might be a reasonable place to start putting the blame. Tunisia has a large Francophile population and thus Dailymotion (zee "Franch YooToob") has also been blocked since September.
