Online video platform provider The FeedRoom has integrated with TubeMogul's video analytics and distribution platform to allow enterprise customers to broadly syndicate their videos to a wide range of online video sites.
The partnership builds in new capabilities for distribution, enabling enterprise customers to easily move video assets and track their usage from a single point with TubeMogul's analytics tools.
Whereas FeedRoom's customers previously had to set up custom feeds for each individual distribution point, they can now upload videos to TubeMogul, which then allows them to be deployed to YouTube Inc. and many other video sharing sites.
David Pearce, vice president of product at The FeedRoom, says the partnership and integration was driven by a growing desire among some enterprise customers to have their videos seen outside their own corporate Websites.
"Unlike other OVPs [online video platforms], which had media and entertainment companies as their design focus, we focused on corporate customers that had less focus on distribution in the past," Pearce says.
But now corporations are starting to see the value in making their content more widely available. To meet this demand, The FeedRoom found that the quickest way to bring the necessary capabilities to market would be by partnering with TubeMogul.
"This partnership addresses a newly emerging market need for this particular market segment," Pearce says. "It shows a growing level of comfort within enterprise and corporate customers for widely distributing their content."
Pearce says that the integration is being rolled out in two stages: one in which the FeedRoom platform will push customer content directly to the TubeMogul portal for distribution; and a stage in which it will tap TubeMogul APIs to enable customers to provide the same distribution and analytics directly from its ow platform.
