Several months ago we began the arduous task of compiling our "Top 10 Network Sites" report. We wanted to find out which network sites have what it takes to keep online viewers engaged and provide you, our beloved readers, with a list of the 10 best network Websites -- based on content available, player functionality, and overall user experience.
And so, tirelessly, we researched -- diligently watching hours of The Daily Show, mocking (and becoming addicted to) reality shows like Greatest American Dog with indefatigable spirit, playing what amounted to literally dozens of games of SpongeBob SquarePants's Patty Panic...
You can thank us for all this hard work later.
For now, we invite you to check out our report right here, or visit any of the following links for the low-down on each site:
10) The Discovery Channel
We "discover" that though this site has Move Networks Inc. quality, it has only ONE show.
9) TBS
TBS grossly offends the Mac user on staff with its sad face emoticon.
8) BBC
Ever wonder what Web TV is like across the pond?
7) NBC
For those few of you who aren't already watching 30 Rock and The Office on Hulu LLC .
6) Fox
All the Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader? you ever wanted, all in one place.
5) ESPN
The sports giant easily trounces Sports Illustrated and NBCSports.com on the Web.
4) CBS
The official network of old people still manages to be hip to the Web.
3) ABC
Move Networks does it again, bringing us Lost in sparkling HD quality.
2) Comedy Central
Don't worry -- there's no Mind of Mencia. We checked.
1) Nickelodeon
"You picked THAT for your number one? Are you sure?" our esteemed publisher Scott Raynovich asked. Oh yes. We're sure. Visit the site and create your own Nick mashup and you will be too.
Fill us in on the message boards if you disagree with our ranking or if you think we forgot a network site. As always, we want to hear from you!
