Hulu LLC sets itself apart from other election Web hubs by allowing streaming of both the real debates and SNL's parodies. The video aggregator yesterday launched its very own Hulu Election '08, reports NewTeeVee, which will live-stream tonight's debate.

Hulu is a joint venture between NBC Universal and Fox Broadcasting Co. -- tonight's debate will be NBC's version, while Oct. 15's final debate will that of FOX News.

And yes, Tina Fey's version of Governor Sarah Palin is on Hulu's Election '08 page.

In other, also conspicuously non-financial news:

  • Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) Labs is working on Mail Goggles, reports The Official Gmail Blog. The (presumably inebriated) emailer will be prompted to solve a few math problems when they click "Send" during pre-designated times -- say weekend late nights.
  • Oxford and Cambridge are making lectures by "world-leading thinkers" available for free on iTunes, reports The Register. In case you, you know, want to improve yourself or something.
  • We may not be using jet packs to get to work, but holographic televisions may be on the way. According to CNN.com, University of Arizona researchers made a breakthrough in developing "rewritable and erasable holographic systems."
  • And Weezer took it upon themselves to break several Guinness World Records in their new music video, reports Wired Epicenter. Surprisingly, the world's tiniest playable drum kit didn't make the list, which includes:
    • Longest Guitar Hero World Tour Marathon, at 10 hours, 12 minutes, and 54 seconds
    • Largest Air Guitar Ensemble, with (the surprisingly low number of) 233 participants
    • Largest Game of Dodgeball, with two teams of 50 people
    • Most People in a Custard Pie Fight, with 120 people
    • Most People Riding on a Skateboard, with 22 people.
    Here's the link.
